AUSTIN, Texas -- March 14, 2006. Artwork for THQ /
Relic's next-generation The
Outfit launches with the game this month.
Working closely with the Canadian developer, Relic, the Austin team
at CMI created highly detailed, normal-mapped objects for the Xbox
360 third person RTS game set in the middle of WWII. |

Artists at CMI were responsible for creating new items that had to fit into the overall look and feel of The Outfit, while still working over 1000 miles away from their client. Assets were created with normal maps, specular maps, and gloss maps with the long-distance approval of the art director. "We are very proud of the work that we did for Relic, and look forward to doing more projects with them in the future," added Scibilia. |
