Critical Mass Interactive helped Your World Games to narrow our game designs and objectives, ultimately setting our company on a path that resulted in the creation and development of “The Shroud,” a game that IGN have named as the most anticipated wireless game of 2007. CMI gave Your World Games the motivation and push we needed to achieve our goals.

Billy Cain and the people over at
CMI demonstrated great understanding for the gaming industry and appreciation for our company’s very specific needs. As expected CMI were diligent with their responses and made on time deliveries of all assets. Honestly I could not have asked for a better experience.

I would without hesitation direct a company in need of assistance, may that be general consultation, game evaluation or game design guidance to CMI and their talented staff.

– Robert Sprogis, Vice President of Your World Games LTD.

IGN Wireless: "Can Indiagames' take on the cult television series drive a stake in bad licensed games?"

“I have had the pleasure of working with Billy and his team on many projects. All I have to say is he is very good at his work and always delivers on time! Billy is your man... if you want to have the "extra glitter" on your games.
– Vishal Gondal of Indiagames

Here's a clip from the IGN Wireless review of Buffy: "Fans of the television series will get the most mileage out of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Honestly, I did not follow the show, so some of the minor details were lost on me, but checking fan sites -- and yeesh, there are a lot of them -- confirmed Indiagames' near religious adherence to the source material. While not as good as some of their previous actioners, Buffy the Vampire Slayer is a respectable way for fans to keep the flame alive and proves that Indiagames should always be a contender for film and television companies looking to leverage their content in the mobile space." IGN Wireless: "Indiagames nails the sci-fi franchise in this handheld hunting game."

Here's a clip from the IGN Wireless review of Predator: "The designer's attention to detail is also key to the game's success, as this is an established franchise with lots of "Predator"-specific things that fans will demand. From the plasma cannon to stealth to skull- collecting, Predator is the go-go human-hunting experience you've been looking for." For the full review, click here.

"Indiagames' Predator was a great action game for handset gamers that just aren't into Sam Fisher. IGN Wireless rated Predator as one of the best mobile games of 2004!"

CMI created USAF: Air Dominance for the United States Air Force and GSD&M

From the review of USAF: Air Dominance in National Defense Magazine: "USAF: Air Dominance” is simpler to play than “America’s Army.” While the Army game intends to provide a realistic rendition of Army doctrine and tactics, the Air Force aimed more for an arcade game than an ultra-realistic flight simulator. The game is easy to grasp, and each mission only lasts a minute or so. It’s designed to briefly let spectators at NASCAR and other events play for a couple of minutes, and then direct them to the recruiters. “We were trying to have a three to five minute experience, so multiple people could experience it,” said Lee. “We can’t have hundreds of people playing the game for an unlimited amount of time.”

The game’s developers say that they could have made it far more realistic—but that wasn’t what the Air Force required. “We made it more arcade-ish at the request of the Air Force, to make it more fun and playable,” said Billy Cain, vice president of Critical Mass Interactive, the developer of the game. While the result is aircraft that don’t fly as realistically as the flight sims in the entertainment market, neither does the Air Force game have the brutal learning curve of simulators such as Microsoft Flight Simulator.

“Critical Mass Interactive provided us with the CRITICAL information we needed to make The Dozens™ into the ground breaking multiplayer mobile game it is. I only wish I had this sort of pre-release review resource during the 25 years I designed and produced computer and video games. I’m sure it would have improved the products I worked on at Activision, Lightspan, and Avalon Hill.”
