October 27, 2005 - Billy chaired a panel of outsource groups for the Austin Game Conference. The title of the panel was: Outsourcing Production... Will it Save me Money? Oddly enough - most of the people in the audience were outsourcers, rather than clients trying to learn how to outsource better. I think next year (if we do this type of talk again), we should focus on how to be a better outsource company! :)

September 7, 2005 - American McGee from the Mauretania Import Export Company (one of our affiliates) is trying to get the word out about one of their projects, Bad Day L.A.

"In the movies, Los Angeles has long been a town ravaged by one kind of destruction or another, whether it's a volcano popping up to say hello on Wilshire, or an earthquake splitting the town in two and turning Beverly Hills into a freak show prison. So maybe it was only a matter of time until one game combined all the possible disasters and threw you in the middle of it, in the role of Anthony Williams, a homeless man who finds himself coming to the rescue of the City of Angels, battling off problems like zombie infestation, terrorism, and jumbo-sized natural disasters."

"We needed a topic and a presenter for one of our meetings. CMI hooked us up Jim Brazell, who is a great speaker with a fascinating topic that is very pertinent to the field of technology today. CMI facilitated communications with Jim, making arrangements for the meeting run as smoothly as possible. After everything was said and done, the meeting was executed smoothly, and we came away with record attendance"
